IREM, the Institute of Real Estate Management, of Georgia swore in the elected executive council officers for the 2020 term on Wednesday, October 23rd. IREM has been an integral force in the state of Georgia since 1970, serving professionals in all real estate types and property management divisions. According to Deborah Westphal, IREM Georgia’s executive director, “We are dedicated to delivering leading-edge networking and educational offerings for every stage of your career, evolving with you to provide lifelong professional development opportunities.”

The 2020 President of the IREM Georgia chapter is Kevin Owens, Executive Vice President, CF Real Estate Services. Kevin is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience in property management operations. Kevin has been involved with IREM since 2011 and has served in various roles on the Executive Council of IREM Georgia since 2014. Kevin is also a member of the IREM National Governing Council and its Membership and Credentialing Committee.

Kevin’s strategic vision for IREM Georgia in 2020 is “Our Story: Impact”. IREM Georgia will be focused on making an economic impact, social impact, community impact, and a leadership impact. In his first address to IREM Georgia membership, Kevin stated, “We have an opportunity over the next year to further broaden the appeal and impact of IREM Georgia on all facets of real estate management, and within the communities we serve. When the 2020 story of IREM Georgia goes in the books, we will be proud of the impact we have made, and of the phenomenal story we have written together.”
