Georgia Public Policy Foundation President Kelly McCutchen to Step Down at Year's End
Friday, December 1st, 2017
Kelly McCutchen, President and CEO of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation since 2010, is stepping down at the end of 2017 to devote more of his time to health care policy.
McCutchen, who was Assistant Vice President in the Trust Department of Trust Company Bank in Atlanta before joining the Georgia Public Policy Foundation in 1993, will continue his relationship with the Foundation as a Senior Fellow.
In 2018, he will become Executive Director of the Healthcare Institute for National Renewal and Innovation, a venture philanthropy located in Atlanta.
“It has been a tremendous honor to be associated with the Foundation over the years, to work with an outstanding board, staff and senior fellows, and to carry out the vision created in 1991 by our founder, Hank McCamish,” McCutchen said.
“I look forward to continuing to work on policy issues and helping the Foundation continue to promote good ideas, defend free markets and improve the lives of Georgians.”
“Kelly has selflessly devoted himself to the Foundation and the betterment of Georgia for nearly a quarter of a century,” said Rogers Wade, the Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
“During that time, his integrity, his credible policy leadership and his dedication to thoughtful ideas have left his fingerprints on more ideas than most know, from the State Capitol to the nation’s capital.
"We wish Kelly every success and look forward to our continued collaboration.”
The Foundation has initiated a search to select McCutchen’s successor. The search will be assisted by Talent Market. The job description and application instructions can be found at at http://talentmarket.org.
