River City Bank is proud to announce the addition of Andrew Williams as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager. In his role as Commercial Relationship Manager, Andrew’s responsibilities will include identifying and expanding business relationships, and delivering financial products and services to both existing and prospective clients. Additionally, Andrew will be involved in leading strategic directions and key initiatives that will support and enhance River City Bank’s goal to provide an ideal banking experience for its customers.

Andrew gained meaningful experience while working for a larger institution in the areas of credit, portfolio management, and commercial lending services in Atlanta, Chattanooga, Tennessee and Greenville, South Carolina. Most recently Williams served as VP/Director of Corporate Product Development for United Community Bank where he collaborated in client acquisition strategies, deposit growth and other products and services enhancements.

We are honored and very excited that Andrew has joined River City Bank. “Our priority was adding experience to complement the talented bankers at River City Bank, and with the addition of Andrew, we believe we’ve moved strongly in that direction,” said Jamie Tallent, President and CEO.

Williams earned his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia and also completed a mini-MBA Program at Clemson University. While attending the University of Georgia, Andrew was a scholarship athlete playing football for the Bulldogs and excelling to receive designations of team captain, most valuable player, and the 2008 David Jacobs Award, which is given each year to the player who portrays courage, spirit, character and determination. “These are all personal traits that embody Andrew Williams’ talent,” says Tallent.

Williams and his wife Laura have three children and now reside in Rome.
