Floyd Medical Center: Some Classes, Support Groups Held Virtually

Floyd will offer some classes and support groups in a virtual, online environment to protect the safety of the public and our employees. Groups that don’t lend themselves to an online presence have been postponed. This applies to most classes and support groups that meet at Floyd Medical Center, Polk Medical Center and Cherokee Medical Center.
Our educators are providing registered participants with access information.
The following classes and support groups will be held online:
- Family Birth Center Tour
- Prepared for Birth
- Prepared for Breastfeeding
- Moms Circle
- Birth Essentials
- Baby Health and Safety
- Postpartum and Newborn Care
- Gestational Diabetes
- Bariatrics Information Session
The following classes and support groups will be held in person on a limited basis:
- Comprehensive Diabetes Education Class
- Diabetes Refresher Education Class
- Gestational Diabetes
- Bariatrics Information Session
The following classes and support groups are not currently being held.

- New Life Support Group
- New to Grief
- Spousal Loss Grief Support Group
- Boot Camp for New Dads
