David Woody, Country Development and Travel expert at SIXT, offers tips for traveling during Spring Break 2023:

“Research and plan ahead by carefully mapping out your travel route to avoid busy traffic. Try to travel midweek rather than during busy weekend periods; however, be aware that these days can still be busy during popular vacation periods, so plan accordingly. Additionally, make sure your brakes, battery, and engine are all working properly, and be sure to leave with a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery to avoid delays.

Also, with recent winter storms sweeping across the U.S., keep an eye out for any weather changes that may interfere with your plans. No one wants the weather to put a damper on their plans, but safety should be the most important thing for your road trip, as it’s always recommended to avoid driving during the worst weather conditions.”
