The labor force increased in Rome by 226 and ended the month with 45,561. That number rose by 2,229 when compared to June of 2022. 

Rome finished the month with 43,866 employed residents. That number increased by 100 over-the-month and increased by 2,155 when compared to the same time a year ago.

Rome ended June with 44,700 jobs, an all-time high. From May to June, jobs rose by 200. When compared to this time last year jobs rose by 2,900.

In June, initial unemployment claims decreased by 2 (-1%) percent in Rome. When you compare June 2023 claims to June 2022, claims were up by 6 (2%).
