Rome Unemployment Rate Drops Heading into the New Year

The labor force increased in Rome by 5 and ended the month with 45,721. That number went up by 1,385 when compared to November of 2022.
Rome finished the month with 44,443 employed residents. That number increased by 241 over-the-month and rose by 1,347 when compared to the same time a year ago.
Rome ended November with 45,400 jobs, an all-time high. That number increased by 300 from October to November and rose by 1,400 when compared to this time last year.
In November, initial unemployment claims increased by 397 (255%) in Rome. When you compare November 2023 claims to November 2022, claims were up by 193 (54%).
