Rome Unemployment Rate Drops in February

The labor force decreased in Rome by 65 and ended the month with 48,590. That number went up by 1,725 when compared to February of 2023.
Rome finished the month with 47,200 employed residents. That number increased by 128 over-the-month and rose by 1,893 when compared to the same time a year ago.
Rome ended February with 47,600 jobs. That number increased by 100 from January to February and rose by 1,700 when compared to this time last year.
In February, initial unemployment claims decreased by 745 (-78%) in Rome. When you compare February 2024 claims to February 2023, claims were down by 162 (-44%).
