AT&T and Human I-T provided the Bartow Education Foundation with 100 refurbished laptops to distribute to Bartow County students.
The computers, funded by an AT&T contribution, were given to Bartow County youth and their families.
“Thanks to AT&T’s generous donation of laptops, our students are gaining invaluable tools that will enrich their learning experience and prepare them for success in the 21st century,” said Chief Leadership and Learning Officer Dave Stephenson, Bartow County Schools. “By equipping our students with these laptops, we are empowering them to develop essential digital skills that will enhance their college and career readiness, setting them up for future academic and professional success.”
“At the Bartow Education Foundation, we are committed to supporting our students by providing world-class educational opportunities that prepare them for successful futures,” said Bartow Education Foundation Executive Director Dot Frasier. “AT&T’s donation of laptops is instrumental in achieving our mission by providing our students with additional resources they need to excel now and in their postsecondary education. We are grateful for AT&T’s investment in Bartow County youth and for helping build a brighter future for all our students.”
This effort is part of the AT&T Connected Learning® initiative to help address the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability and safe adoption. AT&T is committing $5 billion to help 25 million people get and stay connected to high-speed internet by 2030.
“AT&T is committed to helping close the digital divide, and we are proud to support the Bartow Education Foundation by providing laptops and digital resources to Bartow County students and families,” said Brian Barfield, Regional Director of External Affairs, AT&T Georgia. “Through this collaboration, we are creating pathways of success for youth and connecting more Georgians to greater possibility.”
