Leadership demands are changing, and the need for practical, connected solutions has never been greater. This summer, the University of Georgia J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development will host “Leadership Matters Live,” a no-cost webinar series designed to spark fresh conversations, celebrate local successes, and deepen the institute’s support for leadership development efforts across Georgia.

Leadership Matters Live brings together community leaders, practitioners, program developers and leadership faculty to learn, connect and share creative approaches to leadership development. Sessions will explore practical strategies, emerging issues, and real-world applications to help participants lead with confidence and make a meaningful impact in their communities and organizations.

This four-part series will foster an exchange of information around emerging challenges, innovative practices and the ongoing evolution of leadership development — focusing on what communities need right now and equipping them for where they’re headed.

The Fanning Institute is a trusted partner to communities across the state, providing the tools, training and expertise needed to develop leaders who can move Georgia forward.

“Connection is at the heart of the series. Participants are invited into conversations where their experiences matter, while helping shape how we collectively strengthen and serve communities across Georgia,” said Brandy Walker, Fanning Institute senior public service associate.

While each session stands alone, together they build a cohesive foundation for continued learning and future engagement through customized training and consulting opportunities. Join us and be part of the conversation shaping the future of leadership in Georgia.
