Wednesday, September 16th, 2026
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is ranked among the nation’s top pediatric hospitals for 2026-2027 on the U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals list. Children's Atlanta has 9 specialties ranked in the top 20 and 2 specialties ranked in the top 10.
The report ranks hospitals for excellence in outcomes, program structure and national reputation in 11 pediatric specialty areas—with the survey questions created and refined by content experts in each field. Children's Atlanta is the only children’s hospital in the state ranked in the top 50 nationally.
“This recognition is a reflection of the extraordinary people across Children’s who come to work every day with one purpose: to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow,” said
Dr. Patrick Frias, Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Atlanta. “I’m proud of our clinicians, researchers and team members who are advancing care, improving outcomes and helping shape what’s possible for children and families across Georgia and beyond. We’re honored by this recognition, and even more motivated by the work ahead.”
