Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Wednesday, October 28th, 2026

Record-breaking statewide in-person early voting turnout continues as Georgia surpasses two million voters, with 2,000,452 Georgians casting ballots in person as of 4:30 PM Tuesday.

In 2022, 1,640,652 Georgians voted early in person over 15 days, a 22% increase over the same number of days this year. Including absentee ballots, statewide turnout is 28% with 7 days remaining until Election Day, matching turnout 7 days out from Election Day in 2022.

“Georgia voters deserve the highest praise,” said Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. “They are shattering in-person turnout records because they trust our election process. Our county election directors are delivering for their communities and bringing a free, fair, and fast election to every corner of our state."

In addition to in-person voting, 97,382 absentee ballots have been accepted as of 4:30 PM Tuesday.

Early voting continues until this Friday. To find early voting locations and hours in your county, visit the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov.
